Shoppe, how do you say it wrong?

Here's what you said in response to...

Shoppe, does the incorrect pronunciation sound more like Latte or Rope?

The incorrect pronunciation, according to the Webster Apodopolis Collegiate Midget Dictionary, is Shoppe pronounced like "Latte" so the correct pronunciation is in the style of "rope".

Shoppe: Latte.

-wolf

Mmmm! Latte! I think I'll go get one now. Mmmm! Rope! I think I'll get one of those too!

*Big Bang*

You crazy bitch. I'll bury you for stealing my idea for "Ye Olde Rope and Latte Shoppe." It's a brilliant combination- as natural as home videos and tanning. See you in court, tart.

*The XXX Sweed*

I have no clue, I am drunk and I do not want to think about these things at the moment.

*Nhoj*

how do you pronounce latte?
-stu

This question is just too silly for my blood.

Shoppe: The most reasonable answer I could muster for this one uses the
principles of the english language to hypothesize a response. Simply, in the
word Shoppe, there are two consonants in front of the "e" which would be theo
only factor that could make it sound like "rope." ALthough ltte, as written
here, has an accent over the "a", has the same order of two consonants in front
of the "e" which gives the sound a short vowel sound. The same is for shoppe,
the two consonants give it a short "a" sound. Therefore shoppe is pronounced
like "latte".
